Ahojte, já jsem Eliška a v následujících odstavcích se pokusím shrnout sebe, stáž ve Vietnamu a důvody, které mě k ní dovedly.
Asi nebude překvapením, když sem napíšu, že jsem vyrazila jsem na 9 týdnů do Vietnamu. 6 týdnů z toho na dobrovolnickou stáž skrze organizaci AIESEC, konkrétně přes pobočku v Plzni. Po ukončení školy, práce i působení ve zmíněné organizaci po dvou a půl letech byla stáž jasným pokračováním mého příběhu.
Hlavní náplní mé práce je vyúka angličtiny dětí z vietnamských menšin u národního parku Cat Tien a zároveň zvyšování povědomí o ekologii. Oficiálně začínám 25. března.
Cílem stáže je přispět k naplnění Cílů udržitelného rozvoje od OSN. Konkrétně jde o cíl č. 4 – Kvalitní vzdělání a o cíl č. 15 – Život na souši. Více o Cílech udržitelného rozvoje si můžete přečíst TADY.
Zároveň stáž spadá pod iniciativu “Youth 4 Global Goals” (tedy “Mladí za globání cíle”), kdy AIESEC spolupracuje právě s Organizací spojených národů a každá dobrovolnická stáž od AIESEC pomáhá k naplnění jednoho nebo více ze 17ti cílů. Iniciativa se zaměřuje na mladé lidi od 18ti do 30ti let právě proto, aby si uvědomili, že jsou generací, která se k naplnění cílů MUSÍ zapojit, že už není čas čekat, až přijde někdo další. A aby si také uvědomili, že zapojit se smysluplně může úplně každý.
Každá stáž organizovaná AIESEC má v mladých lidech také rozvíjet leadership, tedy schopnost vedení lidí. Abych nevytvořila mylnou představu, tak ještě vysvětlím, jak AIESEC popisuje ideálního leadera. Ten by měl mít několik charakteristik – je orientovaný na hledání řešení, schopný sebereflexe a znalý svých silných a slabých stránek, schopný efektivní komunikace v různých prostředích, zajímá se o dění ve světě a zapojuje se do jeho zlepšování
A co bych chtěla já? Být více nezávislejší, věřit sama v sebe, být přizpůsobivá a držet si pozitivní přístup i k překážkám. Na samotné stáži mám pouze 6 týdnů, proto bych je chtěla maximálně využít a opravdu komunitě přispět kouskem sebe. Možná během toho lépe poznám sama sebe a to, co bych po návratu z Vietnamu ráda dělala a přispívala komunitě v Čechách (nebo někde jinde?). Začala jsem psát, abych si příběhy uchovala v čerstvé podobě pro sebe, pro rodinu, pro svoje kamarády a taky pro lidi, které by podobná stáž mohla zajímat.

Hi, I am Eliška and in the following paragraphs I will try to explain to you who I am, my internship in Vietnam and the reasons that led me to it.
It will be probably no surprise when I say that I decided to spend 9 weeks in Vietnam. Six weeks out of that on a volunteering internship organized by an organization called AIESEC, specifically it was through its branch in Pilsen, Czech Republic. After finishing school, work and membership in AIESEC after 2,5 years – internship was an obvious next direction in my journey.
The main purpose of me being here is to teach English to children from Vietnamese minorities near the Cat Tien National Park together with raising awareness about ecology. My internships oficially starts on 25th March.
The goal of the internship is to help fulfill the sustainable Development Goals by the UN. My internship resolves specifically around the goal n. 4 – Quality Education and goal n. 15 – Life on Land. You can read more about the SDGs here.
Additionally, the internship is supporting a “Youth4GlobalGoals” initiative. The initiative is a cooperation of AIESEC and the United Nations and every volunteering internship through AIESEC is helping to fulfill one or more of the 17 SDGs. the initiative resolves around people aged 18 to 30 so that they will realize they are the generation which needs to take action, that there is no time to wait until the next ones come and also for them to realize that everyone can contribute.
Every internship organized by AIESEC is also developing leadership in young people. Not to create a bad impression, I would like to explain how does AIESEC describe an ideal leader. Leader should have several characteristics – he should be self-aware, empowering others, solution-oriented and a world citizen.
And what do I want? i want to be more independent, believe in myself, be flexible while maintaining a positive attitude towards everything including the obstacles. On the internship itself I have only 6 weeks, that is why I would like to use this time to really contribute to the community as best as I can. Maybe during my time in Vietnam I will get to know myself better and understand better what I would like to contribute to the community in the Czech Republic (or maybe elsewhere?). I started writing to keep my fresh stories and experiences for myself, my family and my friends and for people interested in such things.
